PRAYER, CARE & SHARE Scripture: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations ..." (Matthew 28:19a) Jesus gave his disciples the Great Commission to share the gospel with everyone (Matthew 28:19-20) just before He rose from the dead into heaven. Today, only about 2 out of 7 billion people on earth call themselves disciples of Jesus, or Christians. The task is to the spread the gospel is still great. As you personally accept the challenge to share the gospel daily, you are helping to give everyone on earth multiple opportunities to receive Jesus as Savior. Many of you have the gift of direct evangelism: you easily share the salvation message of the gospel with lost people every day. In my Prayer, Care & Share Teaching , I encourage you to share the gospel of Jesus daily. I praise God with you if you are a part of the 4% of the world using your gift of evangelism on a daily basis. You may be part of the 96% that are not evangelizing for reasons like: Fear about speaking to strangers about your faith; not knowing how to share your faith; not having the gift of personal evangelism or something else. If you are, I encourage you to ask God to guide you and help you to be bold in sharing your faith.
