PRAYER FOR VICTIMS OF CRIME Dear Lord, help those who have been victimized by crimes of any type to recover their faith and trust in people. May they allow themselves the time and find the strength to overcome feelings that may embitter them. May they find comfort in the assurance that they are not responsible for the harm that has been done to them. Following Your example, may they begin to face the challenge to forgive others through their continued prayer and faith in You. Help them to conquer their fears, calm their anger and anxiety, and heal in mind, body, and spirit. In Jesus name, Amen.
