PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING By Debbie McBee Lord, you are the potter and I am the clay; therefore, I lean on you to shape and mold me as you will. As I walk through the valley of fiery trials, I trust you to bring me out as purified gold. Though vicious enemies have come to threaten me, I will not fear, for your perfect love has cast out all of these fearful things. I thank you for preparing a table of plenty that is full of rejoicing for me in the presence of my enemies. I am so grateful that you have reconciled me unto you and that you have poured out your tender mercy to me. I am encouraged by your word and your many promises; therefore, I offer mercy to others as you have offered it to me. By your grace Lord, I will not judge others, but I will be gracious and not harden my heart. Thank you for being my Savior, my comforter, and my strong arm in battle. Your love for me strengthens me and fills my heart with the confession that you, my God reign! * PRAYER INSIGHT By Don Grigsby They that sow in tears will reap in joy. Such a paradox is not easily understood. To harvest watermelons we must plant watermelons. If we sow tears or sorrow in the midst of sorrow, we will reap tears. If we sow joy in the midst of tears we will reap in joy. Everlasting joy is our anointing. It is joy that never quits or gives up. We rejoice in the Lord always. Not for the circumstance but for the one who will take us through the circumstance. That is why we can give thanks in everything.
