PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING By Thelma Hightower Lord, I thank you for strengthening me during my time of weariness and regret. I will make a joyful noise unto you and I desire to serve you with gladness. I am grateful that you came that I might have life and that more abundantly. During my time of weariness help me not to faint or pass out this close to seizing the prize of the high calling. I am thankful that your joy is not obtained by my fabrication but it flows out of the rivers and wells of salvation. Lord, even when my circumstance for the moment appears not to be joyous, I will lift my voice in continual praise and give glory unto your wonderful and glorious name. Your name is above every name, and at your name every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that you are Lord. I give you praise. * PRAYER INSIGHT By Don Grigsby RE: PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING Joy that is the Lords is everlasting. It can, in fact, outlast everything and any event of our lives. We sow in joy and reap in joy in the midst of our tears. We cannot sow in tears and reap in joy. In the midst of our sorrow, we can rejoice and be glad in the Lord, and we will reap a harvest of joy. We are not weary in our worship, but we will prevail over our weariness in rejoicing. Regret of any form that would lodge in our minds vanishes in the light of the revelation of what we shall be in eternity in him. We look not at that which is seen and temporary but at the unseen and the eternal. Jesus Christ will present the church to himself a glorious church with great joy. We are part of the grand finale!
