PRAYER POINTS FOR MONDAY 29 DECEMBER We will worship God: a. For Who He is and the beauty of His holiness; b. Glorify and magnify Him; and c. And declare that Christ is the Lord of all the nations, including SA. We will thank the Lord for 2014: a. For His love; b. For His kindness; c. The Ministry of His Word; and d. Ministry of His Spirit. 1. PRAY FOR NATIONS IN SOUTHERN AFRICA The nations in Southern Africa Region are: South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Mozambique, Lesotho, Malawi, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Madagascar, Sechelles, Reunion, Mauritius, Comoros & Mayotte. Ps 122:7-9 O Jerusalem, may there be peace within your walls and prosperity in your palaces. This I ask for the sake of all my brothers and my friends who live here; 9 and may there be peace as a protection to the Temple of the Lord. (TLB) Pray for the Peace of God in all the nations in Southern Africa to reign supreme at all levels of government namely, The executive council, The Legislative council and The Judiciary council. Pray that the peace of God that passes all human understanding will be at work in taking decisions for the governing of these countries, such that, both the peoples and the governing bodies in these nations will know that the hand of God is upon their nations. Zec 9: 9-10 A Humble King Riding a Donkey Shout and cheer, Daughter Zion! Raise the roof, Daughter Jerusalem! Your king is coming! a good king who makes all things right,a humble king riding a donkey, a mere colt of a donkey. Ive had it with war—no more chariots in Ephraim, no more war horses in Jerusalem, no more swords and spears, bows and arrows. He will offer peace to the nations, a peaceful rule worldwide, from the four winds to the seven seas. (MSG) Pray against Chaos in all the Southern African region nations. Declare peace and calm to every ragging storm in any of our countries within the SA Region 1 Tim 2:1-4 First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. Pray that the government of each nations will work in wisdom and take the right decisions of governance and the wisdom of God will prevail in any and every decision taken for any of the nations. Mrk 13:10 And the good news (the Gospel) must first be preached to all nations (AMP). Pray for free course and continued acceptance of our gospel in all the nations of Southern Africa. That there will be no hindrance at all and the gospel is preached, many will come into their inheritance in Christ Jesus. 2. PRAY FOR OUR MAN OF GOD Acts 6:4 But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. (KJV) Pray for our Man of God that the ministry of the word of God will be made more manifest in him such that, as he ministers, we will drink of the fullness of God from his ministrations which will be full of the power of the Holy Spirit to change situations and circumstances. John 12:17-18 And those in the crowd who had seen Jesus call Lazarus back to life were telling all about it. 18 That was the main reason why so many went out to meet him--because they had heard about this mighty miracle. (TLB) Pray that the miraculous will not cease in his ministry. That signs and wonders will continue to manifest at his meetings, conferences and at the healing school. That through him, God will yet bring about many more creative and uncommon miracles that many will see and declare openly, that surely, God is in him. Eph 6:19-20 Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains.
