PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE FOR MY NEPHEW JOSHUA.. Thank you in advance for your continued prayers... Here is the latest update on my condition. This morning the doctor came through and said that the specialist should be visiting me today regarding my kidney function he said looking at the labs today that they got worse then they have any other day. He looked atop the infection in my right leg and said that it looked better but Im looking at it now and it seems like its coming back. The infection is so sensitive and tender that its hard to put even sheets over it. It is very painful to stand or walk but seems to be easier to move around today. I try and move around as much as possible just to keep the blood flowing and to get out of this bed every once in a while. Ive been experiencing nausea from all the medications that Ive have to be on and if throwing up almost every day since Ive been in here. I know that this all go away pretty soon, Im just hoping sooner than later. The specialist came thru just now and said that all the testing they have done all looks good except for my Kidney function. This was most likely caused by the initial ear infection I had back in September,and all the medications that Ive had to take since then. All the treatment with medications they had to do, have caused my kidneys to function at a low level. T g is has caused all the swelling in both my legs i have been battling since September. He has no doubt that when they are able to get my kidneys functioning some what normal then I will no longer have the swelling in my extremities. To give you an idea how much water Im retaining. In the last 3 weeks Ive gained around 34 lbs. They want to keep me here at the hospital and monitor my kidney function, and weight which he said may be at minimum 1 day but he anticipates another 3 days, it all depends on how well my kidneys respond to the treatment. He will want to continue monitoring my kidneys after Im released from here as well. There is the possibility i may need to go on dialysis but he feels if I do it will be short period of time. Your prayers are always welcome. I need prayer for a speedy recovery Gods Word says by His stripes we are healed! Also, that my employer will understand they continue to work with me like they have been, even if i get released and have to start dialysis. Texas is in at will state so they dont have to give you a reason and if they decide to let you go, I have just completed my first 90 days. I truly love my new job and they seem to like me also. Any of you that have started the new job can understand how stressful that can be not knowing. Please continue to pray for Rebecca Guile she is my soulmate and I feel lost without her at times. While Im in here she is at home taking care of her 5 beautiful children who in all of their anxiety, because their daddy is not there,8 have been a little crazy for her at times. Rebecca and I are an awesome team together and the kids take full advantage when were forced to be apart. I miss them and I miss being home laying next to the one I love, and holding the ones that bring me joy every day. The scariest part of all of this is that the doctors dont really know what is causing it, or how to get them working other than changing a few things in my diet, and hoping that works On another note it is been 31 days since I have smoked a cigarette so glad to be free of such a controlling addiction.
