PRAYER REQUEST for Sue Atwater Hello – I’m not sure what the process is to ask for prayers. My mom and dad’s kitty, Sammy, was attacked Sunday night. He’s an inside/outside cat, and when my dad called him to come in before bed, Sammy didn’t come in. Monday morning my mom found blood on their back step, and they found Sammy huddled in the back corner of their old dog house, unable to use his hind legs. Apparently, he’d dragged himself back home. He had several gashes that their vet said were caused by being grabbed by a large dog or dogs. Fortunately, nothing is broken, and the vet feels it may be nerve damage that will heal. For now, Sammy is staying at the vets. However, if he doesn’t regain use of his hind legs, my parents will have him euthanized. Please pray that Sammy will get better. It isn’t his fault this happened to him. If he does come thru this, my mom has said he will be an indoor only cat.
