PRAYER REQUESTS: Ok, friends. I have two prayer requests for you today. For one, Steve Pitt just left to work on his Suburban, which was overheating last night. (He blames me -- I drove it around Junction City to do some errands, since I rarely get out of town.) Anyway, he removed a bad piece of hose, but the engine still ran very hot. Hes headed back to JC with his buddy, Erik, to try to fix the thermometer. He thinks its stuck and thats why the engine gets so hot, but the heater blows cold air. (If youre a mechanic, you know more of what hes talking about. I just listened and recall some of the information. :) ) Please pray that its a SIMPLE fix and NOT a blown head gasket, for his sanity! :) Secondly, I just found out after I woke up at one of the American Legion American Legion Post 12 Riders members, Jimmy Rock Wilson, Jr., was hit while riding his motorcycle on i-70. KSAL has some information, based on the KHP crash log report (ksal/man-hurt-in-saturday-night-motorcycle-crash/#.UyWsa_yF_Gs.facebook), and Ill probably write up a story for The Times since he does have Herington ties via the ALR group.
