PRAYER TO MOTHER ATHENA Blessed Goddess, Give me the strength to stand my ground, The conviction to stand tall and proud, In the face of any real or perceived enemy, Inside, Outside, wherever they may be. Let me defend my kin and my hearth, My body, my soul, mind and breath, Let me stand for who I AM, An essence beyond woman and man! Grant me wear the cloak of courage, To my breast I hold the shield of faith, Against my foes I raise the spear of truth, Only in Love, never Hate. Mighty Mother, Show me the ways of combat and valour in battle, The wisdom of peace, the joy of the humble, Teach me the healing arts to touch all that I may heal, Self, Other, Friend, Foe - All the Same in The Big Reveal, At the end of the day as I cast off my armor and nurse my wounds, In the pith of my bones and in each drop of my soul, Will I hear the Path-Maker, My Mighty Mother?
