PRAYER WITH KINGDOM CONNECT TODAY Key scripture for this week: Luke 10: 19-20 The words of Mr Bonke have never left my heart, he said “the church is not a pleasure boat, but it is a life boat to save lives and all hands are needed”. I pondered on this statement for hours and I realised that the aim of Christ’s death was not so that we my live gloriously and richly but it was so that lives may be saved. I do not deny that the kingdom of God comes with prosperity and glory but that is just a cherry on top, the heart of the matter is souls of men and women. We should not allow ourselves to measure our Christian progress through material acquisition, we shout measure our progress by how many people are let to Christ and receive their salvation. • Pray for the church to preach the gospel. • Pray for saints to know that they are the workers of this ministry of Christ. • Pray that the body of Christ may stop competing and start complimenting each other to save as many lives as possible. • Ask God Holy Spirit to increase the conviction of work in the hearts of those that are called for ministry. • Pray for the Holy Spirit to convict men of sin and let them come to cross of Calvary. • I prophesy that the Church will rise and lead the nation to the unfailing love of God. • I declare that your nation will develop and hunger for God and they will stop at nothing to proclaim His holy name. • I decree that you will work together with God in this season. ...It is in Jesus’ mighty name that we pray.
