PRESIDENT UHURU KENYATTA LEAVES FOR IGAD SUMMIT IN ETHIOPIA ******************************************************************************************* President Uhuru Kenyatta left the country today in the morning to attend the 28th Extra-Ordinary Summit of Heads of State and Government of Inter-Governmental Authority on Development (IGAD). The Plane carrying the President and his delegation departed Jomo Kenyatta International Airport shortly after 9.00 a.m and was seen off by Deputy President William Samoei Ruto, Chief of Defence Forces General Julius Karangi and other Senior Government Officials. The IGAD leaders are meeting to discuss how best the remaining barriers to the South Sudan peace process can be resolved.
