PRESS RELEASE 17 - Monday, Octobr 13th, 2014 The Official Press Conference presenting the 16th edition of the ‘International Circus Festival – City of Latina’ took place this morning at 12 noon. The Mayor of Latina, Giovanni di Giorgi, praised the ‘Giulio Montico’ Cultural association for its continued efforts, since 1999, to maintain and promote traditional Circus culture in Latina. The Director of the Festival, Fabio Montico, spoke about the members of the cast and the two juries. The cast is outstanding: 25 numbers competing, 21 nations represented, and 1 guest star. The two juries contain internationally-renowned personalities of the highest level. The shows will be presented by Andrea Giachi; the ringmaster is Tommy Cardarelli; the bandmaster is Alberto Amidei. Listed below are the names of the cast of the 2014 edition of the Festival, followed by the discipline that each will be presenting, and their nationality. The performers will be divided into two groups, from which two separate shows will be created (Show A and Show B). The International technical Jury will decide which acts from these two shows will go into the final show of this sixteenth edition of the Festival.
