PRESS RELEASE: 2014 GENERAL ELECTIONS Local and International Observer Missions as well as the general public at large we have showered the Independent Electoral Commission with accolades for a job well done in the conduct of the 2014 General Elections. I would like to take this opportunity to express my utmost gratitude to the entire poll staff being all the Returning Officers, Assistant Returning Officers and their polling staff including the Botswana Police officers, political party agents deployed at polling stations as well as staff of our Diplomatic Missions for their priceless contribution to this national assignment. I also extent my gratitude to staff of the Independent Electoral Commission for their tireless efforts throughout this national undertaking.
