PRESS RELEASE 22 8 13 Kuldeep Rai Sharma, President , Pradesh Congress Committee, A&N Islands has conveyed his sincere gratitude to the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor and Chief Secretary for getting the approval from the Pondicherry University for continuation of the second shift in JNRM during the academic year 2013-14. Kuldeep said that this effort of the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor to provide fresh admission to students in the second shift in six under graduate courses namely B.Com., B.A English, B.A Political Science, B.A. Economics, B.A History and B.A Hindi has brought a sigh of relief to parents as well as student community at large since it will provide opportunity to them to pursue higher education in the territory of A&N Islands at an affordable cost. Nevertheless, Kuldeep has once again reiterated his demand for opening of another college in the Islands with adequate intake capacity and with multifarious job oriented disciplines to put an end to this stop gap or rather interim arrangement of running the second shift. Kuldeep has also reiterated his demands of establishing an University and a Medical College for the welfare of the students community, job seekers and development of the islands.
