PRESS RELEASE DRAMA SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIP FOR CURRENT TASMANIAN RESIDENT The National Theatre Drama School (Melbourne) is very pleased to announce that, courtesy of the generosity of the Gerda Nicolson Trust, a scholarship to the value of $5,000 will be available in 2015 to a student currently resident in Tasmania who successfully auditions for the School’s nationally-accredited Advanced Diploma of Acting course. The course aims to prepare graduates for entry into the Performing Arts industry as actors for stage and screen and/or as performance makers. All teaching staff are active Industry professionals and the School operates from its own dedicated facilities in cosmopolitan St Kilda. The Advanced Diploma is VET FEE-HELP approved and runs full-time over three years. Auditions will be held in Hobart in early January but intending applicants should submit an expression of interest by the last week of November. Auditionees should be at least 19 years of age by 01/01/15.
