PRESS RELEASE: On November 21, 2013 at approximately 6:23 p.m. the St. Albans Police responded to 100 Lower Welden Street for a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers observed the offender, Christopher Bocash, 31, or St. Albans, run out the front door of the residence, hop on a bicycle and flee the area. Despite multiple commands to stop, Bocash continued to ride away while one Officer chased him on foot. Bocash successfully evaded Officers until a short time later when he located on Lake Street. Bocash struggled with Police while being arrested. Once restrained and placed in the rear of a Corrections vehicle he attempted to kick out the rear window. Bocash was lodged at Northwest State Correctional Facility on a probation violation. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 22, 2013 to face multiple charges including Domestic Assault, Unlawful Mischief, Violation of Conditions of Release, Resisting Arrest and Disorderly Conduct #1.
