PRESS RELEASE On Tuesday, June 24, 2013 several businesses were vandalized by spray painting “Lane Avenue Gang” on buildings, dumpsters, and other structures. After investigation charges were filed, by Captain Gary Harris, against two(2) juveniles for vandalism of properties belonging to Algood Main Street Market, Dollar General Store, City of Algood, Law Office of Steven Randolph, Soard Property, Algood Church of Christ, and other private property, juveniles were picked up and held on 8,000 bond each. Lieutenant Bryant Swallows assisted in this investigation. Another example of the Algood Police Department commitment to protect and serve the City of Algood.
