PRESS RELEASE On Tuesday, October 14th, 2014,at approximately 10:42pm Brunswick Police Officers responded to a shots fired call in the 2400 block of Albany Street. Upon arrival Officers located a Volvo station wagon that had crashed through the outer wall of a duplex apartment. The driver of the Volvo, Nicholas James King was found unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. King, a 22 year old black male from Glynn County , was pronounced dead at the scene. Brunswick Police Detectives along with members of the Violent Crimes Task Force arrived and processed the scene and canvased the neighborhood for possible witnesses. At this time no motive, or suspects have been developed. 9mm shell casings were recovered at the scene. The vehicle was impounded for further processing and evidence collection. No one was inside of the duplex apartment at the time the Volvo crashed through the residence wall. A reward will be offered for information leading to the arrest of a suspect involved in this Homicide.
