PRETTY sure that she cant get a job because she went into an interview wearing that outfit. I mean, it can be seriously debated whether or not making piercing/tattoo-based discrimination illegal infringes on an employers rights. However, THIS is not the image that fairly conveys her side. Her outfit is honestly horrendous. Thats not coming from me; thats my inner fruitcake saying EEEeeeewww. Wearing a tie around the neck without a button-up shirt has never looked good. Shtop it. Its like someone wearing a fedora with a tank top. If she were wearing even a T-shirt and jeans then Id be able to take her seriously. A button-up shirt and tie is even better, as it shows that someone is dressed formally and sharply and is still being discriminated against based on piercings, tattoos, or hair color. But shes dressed like a brony and a scene kid fused together. No, an employer should not heavily discriminate* based on such characteristics. However, this girl looks more like shes pushing for a I should be able to look however I want and people should hire me anyway type of situation, which is not fair to employers. *I say heavily discriminate because, while a piercing or tattoo shouldnt effect ones chances of getting a job, if someone has 20 facial piercings and his face tattooed to look like a skull, then.... Yeah, certain businesses DO have an image that they want to keep.
