PRICELESS = I was so excited about being hired by Verizon for the womens empowerment event that I told my kids all about it, explained that these are the opportunities Ive worked so hard for, and that its a BIG deal because I was hired as the Keynote Speaker. Just as I began explaining what a Keynote Speaker is, my 10-year old daughter politely interrupts me and says, Uh, mommy Ive been a Keynote Speaker, I know what it is. OMG, I almost crashed I laughed so hard. And she was just stating facts, she wasnt trying to be sarcastic which made it that much funnier. But it made me smile that my example has taught her to embrace her gifts and talents at such a young age and that, yes, she has already been a Keynote Speaker at age 10!!
