PRIME MINISTER NETANYAHU WE ARE A DEMOCRACY FIGHTING A RUTHLESS TERRORIST ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO OUR DESTRUCTION - THE ONLY PLACE FOR DECENT PEOPLE TO STAND IS TO STAND WITH ISRAEL. In a statement last evening, the Prime Minister expressed his deep appreciation to the United States - President Obama, Secretary Kerry and Ambassador Shapiro - for the terrific support for Israel including additional funding for the Iron Dome and the acknoweldgement of Israels right to defend herself against rockets, tunnels and other terrorist weaponization. He stated that, contrary to some reports, the relationship between the United States and Israel is excellent in tone and substance. The Prime Minister explained that on Friday morning Israel agreed to a 72 hour humanitarian ceasefire to help the civilians in Gaza which was requested by UN Secretary General Moon and Secretary Kerry. Qatar has assured the parties that Hamas would comply and that all parties would cease fighting during this period. Two hours into the ceasefire Hamas engaged in a preplanned elaborate operation in which a suicide bomber killed two israeli soldiers and abducted a third, Hadar Goldin. Goldins body parts were discovered last evening. In committing this vicious act of terror, Hamas violated for the fifth time a cesefire designed to provide relief and humanitarian assistance to the citizens of Gaza. Israeli soldiers had previously risked their lives, braving Hamas fire to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza Prime Minister warned Hamas never to question the resolve of the Israeli people or the nation of Israel and vowed that Israel WILL DO WHATEVER IT NEEDS TO DO TO PROTECT ITS PEOPLE. The Prime Minister appealed to world leaders and decent people everywhere TO STAND WITH ISRAEL - A DEMOCRACY FIGHTING A RUTHLESS TERRORIST ORGANIZATION COMMITTED TO ISRAELS DESTRUCTION.
