PRINCIPAL AUDITIONS OPEN CALL - THIS SUNDAY SUNDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2014 Following the hugely successful sell-out performance of Godspell in Concert at the Lyric Theatre on May 19th this year, the production will be touring the UK from Spring 2015! The rights have been secured for the new and hugely successful Broadway Revival production which (excluding our performance at the Lyric Theatre) has never been performed outside of USA. Featuring new orchestrations by Michael Holland and additional Lyrics from Stephen Schwartz, this new version is an up to date, edgy revamp of the amazing Godspell score, tranforming it into a modern era rock opera. Our cast of 10 principals will be supported by a small ensemble and a 28 strong choir in each venue, with local choirs being auditioned and rehearsed in their respective regions around the UK, offering local choirs and singers the opportunity to become part the Godspell journey and the chance to perform on stage in a major National UK Tour, something which has not been done before! And the lovely Stephen Schwartz himself will be flying over from New York to attend one of the performances! Rehearsals: March 16th - April 3rd 2015 Tour dates: April 4th - July 3rd 2015 We are now holding OPEN AUDITIONS and are looking for a small number of incredible singers/vocalists to join our cast! Whatever your style, pop, rock, musical theatre, gospel or soul, wed like to hear what you can do! Please prepare 32 bars of a song that demonstrates your vocals and shows your range.
