PROCEDURE: WHILE STANDING .... STEP 1: Stand bra-less in front of a mirror Look at your breast in a mirror with your shoulders straight and arms on your hips. With this, you are to look out for the size, color, shape, swelling, rash, and nipple inversion. STEP 2: Raise both arms above your head, with your palms pressed together and look out for the already listed factors in STEP 1. STEP 3: Look out for nipple discharge (clear, colorless, yellowish, or bloody) WHILE LYING DOWN: STEP 4: Use the pads of the fingers of both hands, (not the tips) especially the middle three fingers to feel the breast tissue in a clockwise and then an anticlockwise position. While on a bed or any other flat surface, lie down on your back. In this position, the breast tissue spreads out becoming thinner and easy to feel.
