PRODUCTION COORDINATOR Well established apparel co. seeking experienced production coordinator with background in sweaters and/or knits. Seeking an independent and focused applicant that is able to react effectively in a fast paced environment. Candidate should have 4-6 years of production experience in knits, sweaters and/or wovens with strong follow up, communication skills & excellent knowledge in Excel. Able to communicate with overseas office & suppliers on daily basis. Candidate must be self-motivated, detail oriented & team spirited. Must be fluent in English. Wal- Mart experience a plus. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Communicate with overseas office & suppliers on daily basis. • Track goods from order placement to delivery. • Responsible for all details of orders (fill out all testing applications, keeping organized files on lab dips/shade bands, checking colors, preparing & send out all samples/fabric, prepare packing instructions to factory, check all accessory layouts, order all labels/hangtags, etc.) • Update all production spreadsheets daily • Prepare purchase orders to factory. • Prepare QA packages • Open communication with all related departments including design, technical, finance and shipping department. • Organized, detailed oriented & keep proper records. QUALIFICATIONS: • 4-6 year’s production experience • Technical knowledge of garment construction in knits and sweaters is helpful. • Strong communication and organizational skills are required • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment • Must have computer knowledge of AS400, & Microsoft office – Outlook, Excel& Word.
