PROPHETIC UTTERANCE A WORD OF COMFORT, EDIFICATION, ENCOURAGEMENT, EXHORTATION, AND LEARNING (1 Corinthians 14:3, 31) “Grace During a Famine of the Hearing of the Words of God” By Moses Hightower These words came unto me, Preach love in the face of hate. Preach peace when encountering the expression of confusion. Preach grace while you stand in front of humiliation. Preach long-suffering in confronting intolerance. Preach my power when you discern countenances of weakness. Preach joy as a remedy for sadness. Preach righteousness during this onslaught of wickedness and indecency. Preach my goodness, for it will lead men to repentance. Many are wayward because there has been a famine of true goodness among my people. While many are gluttonous for that which appears good, my people have been forced to eat this emptiness from the mouths of letter-filled preachers. The letter kills, but the spirit gives life. Do not die with the masses, which are killed at the tables of death while they seek life in the ditches of religion. I send you with grace-filled lips. Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt so that you may know how you ought to answer every man. You were given a testimony of the word of my grace. It was preached in your ears, and it has lifted you above every storm, every mountain, every obstacle, and in every trial. In your valleys, the word of my grace has spoken unto you. Will you give a word of condemnation to others in despair and in their time of need? Go and recommend others to the grace of God. I have made you fairer than the children of men by pouring grace into your lips. You are blessed forever. No one can take the blessing of Abraham from you, for your blessing is Christ in you, the hope of glory. I am your sun and shield. I have given you great grace and glory. No good thing will I withhold from you, for grace is given to you, and it enables you to walk uprightly. I have given grace unto the lowly. Let your lips be filled with grace, and the king shall be your friend. Go forth and cry, Grace, grace unto the peoples troubles. Grace is poured upon the people. They have the spirit of grace and supplication. My grace is upon them. They have not received the grace of God in vain. Many are not abounding in grace because they have not heard it preached. Go and preach the grace of God. You have been given traveling grace, and I am able to make all grace abound toward you so that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. My grace is sufficient, and my strength is made perfect in weakness; therefore, do not fear in your time of weakness. My strength is working for you. You were called by my grace. Now allow me to reveal myself in you so that you might preach me among the people. When others perceive the grace that is given to you, they will give you the right hand of fellowship; therefore, do not worry about those who deny you fellowship. Their rejection of you is of me, for I have rejected them, and they are void of the true grace of God. Do not frustrate my grace, for if righteousness comes by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. I have freely given you grace. I resist the proud but give grace unto the humble. You and your wife are heirs together of the grace of life. Dwell with her according to knowledge, giving honor unto her as unto the weaker vessel, and your prayers will not be hindered. You have received the gift of grace. Now go and minister the same grace to others, and be a good steward of this manifold grace of God. Submit yourself to others, and be clothed with humility. Humble yourself under my mighty hand, and I will exalt you in due time. Cast all your cares upon me. I care for you. Grace and peace have been multiplied unto you, and my divine power has given unto you all things that pertain unto life and godliness. Rejoice in the face of your lack. An abundant blessing has been sent forth. My kingdom has come. It has not come in word only, but it has come in power. My kingdom is filled with righteousness, peace, and joy in my Spirit. It is not here, nor there, but the kingdom of God is within you. My kingdom rules over all. Look on my right hand. There comes the right hand of my power on your behalf. Rejoice and be exceeding glad. * PROPHETIC INSIGHT by Don Grigsby RE: RHEMA - Grace During a Famine of the Hearing of the Words of God As we have freely received, we must freely give. Grace has bestowed the best upon us when we had the least measure of God in our lives. A famine of the hearing of the words of grace is in the land. Anger and unforgiveness would rather hear the words of condemnation and judgment. Emotional prisons capture those who say that they want others to hurt as they have. Grace turns loose of the inflictions that have caused the pain of the prisoners of the poison of revenge. Every resentment and bitterness has its base in a twisted sense of pleasure that is the opposite of love, refusing to keep a record of suffered wrongs. Love leaves itself open to endure the injuries of rejection and ridicule. Calvary reaches with the hands of grace and heals the festering wounds of a crushed heart. In the face of a total vacuum of a word of deliverance, grace writes volumes of pages to the hungry soul. We have a mandate to declare the treasures of grace to a religious world devoid of the depositories of grace. Laodicean attitudes pervade in the starvation induced comas of those who are slowly dying for a word of liberty from the Lord. Emphatic statements of power are written in the heart of the God of all grace that is ready to be poured into the inkwells of the pen of the soul. Twisted plots of jealousy and pride have continually stripped tables of grace bare of the feast that God intends for man to feast on every day. Ravens of the supernatural will bring the abundance of the blessing of grace to those who are abandoned by traditional religion. If God gave his people enough meat to feed their lust so they constantly gathered it for 24 hours, then he can provide a continual feast for us in the wilderness of the law and legalism. Oceans of grace will cover the mountains of the law as we ride in the ark of mercy above the tide of famine.
