PROPHETIC UTTERANCE A WORD OF COMFORT, EDIFICATION, ENCOURAGEMENT, EXHORTATION, AND LEARNING (1 Corinthians 14:3, 31) “The Paradise of Grace at the End of the Swamp of Hatred” By Moses Hightower These words came into my hearing, Hate is blind. Its blindness does not allow it to see what it is destroying. The destructive power of hate is a thief of all that is good. Because the good does not belong to the vessels of hate, the good is not deemed important enough to save; however, good cannot be separated. When the good in any part is damaged, it affects the whole. The Lord of good will defend its children from the spirit of hate and its vessels. Vengeance is the Lord’s, and he will repay. In the midst of the rage of hate, compassion is completely lost. Those who yield to the expressions of hate are rendered totally unprofitable for anything good. Those who were once worthy of the fondness of hate’s vessels are discounted and counted as worthless in the sight of hate’s rifle of death. Good names are destroyed by being weighed in the false balances of men who, in their own minds, bar the bearer of good names from the blood of Jesus, not knowing they have shut off their own vessels of hate from the same blood that they need for mercy and forgiveness. The children of the vessels of hatred will turn and hate the vessels of hatred for the misery and the robbery that their eyes shall behold. I will give their children hearing ears and seeing eyes. These children shall pity these vessels of hate and shall be ashamed that they came from such evil vessels. The swamps of this life shall become the paradise of grace as the hand of the Lord divinely intervenes and hides those who are his from the wrath and the venom of hate. Innocent lives will be lost in this battle between hate and good. The angels of grace will stop the wrath of hatred. Angels camp round about those who are heirs of this glorious salvation. Give thanks for the providence of God Almighty, for the Lord has provided a safe haven for all those who trust in Jesus. Look up unto redemption. The same redemption that saved you is working on your behalf as you travel through the swamps of hate. This journey is only for a season. Rejoice during this time of persecution and suffering by the hand of hatred, which has made you sad. You will reap a harvest of joy soon. Behold the season of joy. It comes in the morning of your faith. Faith arrives in the bosom of love. The bosom of love has come to you with its gentle embrace. Be caressed by love and rest on its pillow of peace. The power of God is yours. This power is the resurrection power. By this power, you shall surely fly away with me as I depart into eternity with my body. . . * Prophetic Insight by Don Grigsby RE: Rhema - The Paradise of Grace at the End of the Swamp of Hatred Judas was just three days from forgiveness. Nearly all humanity thinks that Judas was an irretrievable case of predestined malice and hatred. At a deeper level, he was looking for some measure of recognition that he felt he was not receiving. Many well intended journeys end up at the dead end of hatred. It is the ultimate hammer in the porcelain shop of life. Shattered dreams and unfulfilled goals lay in pieces under its feet. It makes gentle hands heavy and listening ears deaf. It has a remarkable power to be completely without feeling and blind to any reason, yet how many lives have been encased in its hard shell has the gentle carpenter built into a work of art by his grace? Forgiveness and unconditional love are the chisels that will chip away the hard, cold stone to display the warm figures of embrace. Treasures of relationships and kingdoms have been plundered by its raging spirit. God has the ability to tame it as he did the storm and the lions of Daniels den. Love will be deaf to the thunder of hard, cruel words. It will create a gentle stream of words like that which flows through a beautiful garden. A soft answer still turns away wrath. Calvary swallowed up the wrath that should have fallen on all our heads. Hate would like to bang heads on the hard ground. Redemptive love from the cross will lift every battered and bruised head in its gentle fingers to meet the kiss of the grace-framed Rhema of his mouth. Gentle sunlight of words of love will cause the flowers of kindness to grow where the weeds of discontent flourished. Let us rejoice always in the forgiveness that has come to us and sing the song of eternal grace that springs from the hearts that have been liberated from the hateful bruiser of our soul. Hate is the seedbed for murder. Hate flows out of offense. We should never allow the spirit of offense to reside in our hearts. It gets infected with the toxins of resentment and turns into the acid of hate. We have been given the cross that turns bitter waters sweet. Calvary even turns the poison of wild gourds into healed food. We need to eat the good things of the Lord and not sit at the tables of negativity. Love and grace will take its salt and make the waters of the swamps of life sweet. Vengeance is the Lords. Some say that it is an eye for eye, tooth for tooth; a fair, satisfying, and rapid way to a sightless, toothless world. Hate is the ice that forms on the surface of love and turns the intensity that we should have for others into a lifeless cloud. Our lives should be filled with the red hot incense of worship of the King. Hate will smother every fire of love that grace would kindle in our lives. Hate is bread baked slowly in the oven of our narcissism and eaten with such haste that we devour our hands and never notices it until we reach out to touch and find our fingers are gone! Let us allow grace to swallow up the swamps of hatred in our lives before it devours us.
