PS on the eyeglass dilemma--I DID end up going to my regular doc, Eigenbrodt after checking out the selection at Total Eyewear Outlet. I DID find a pair there I liked a lot, and would have been about 1/2 of what I paid at the eye doc. But at the doc I explained we no longer had eye insurance & asked if there was a cash discount, and they gave me one. I figured glasses/your face is the 1st thing people see, so the discount still ended up costing me like double the other place, but I got a pair I LOVED with all the light lenses, etc. instead of one I liked. The cash price they gave me put it in range to make it do-able.
