PSA!!! DO NOT IGNORE!! PLEASE SHARE!!The weather is getting colder and I know all you moms (and dads) want to keep your kiddos warm, but you may be unknowingly putting them in danger. Please, please take a few minutes and watch this video as a mom demonstrates why wearing a coat (even fairly light weight as you can see) can be dangerous. If there was a crash, the coat would deflate from the force, leaving the child barely secured in their seat. There are other, safer, options to keep your child safe. I personally strap my son in tight and put his coat/sweatshirt on backwards over the straps. I then put a blanket on him and tuck it in under his legs. It may be a hassle to put the coat on him after taking him out, but well worth it IMO. Lets keep these kids warm AND SAFE this winter!!
