PSALM 22:2-3 O my God... But thou art holy,O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel Jehovah God Almighty dwells in praises,adorations,worship and thanksgiving.This means that whenever you return all glory to God by the way of praising,thanking or adoring His Holy name,He comes down into that praises.Before He comes down,He has already detailed His Angel to run errand and liberate who ever is praising Him from all his battles of life.For example,Paul and Silas,Acts 16:25-30. God takes highest delight in receiving our praises,and people returning all glory to Him,hence,Prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 43:7 confirms that God created us for His glory.God is in praises and thanksgiving,no wonder Paul in 1 Thessalonians 5:18 commands: In everything give thanks:for this the will of God in Christ Jesus. Get it right,God may say NO,to your prayer,but can never say NO to your praises and thanksgiving.Where ever there is thanksgiving and praises God comes down,and such praises provoke Him to work signs,wonders,and miracles.. CHRIST JESUS understands this,in all the miracles He performed,the first thing in His mind is to thank God.Listen to my CHRIST in John 11:41, and said,Father,I thank thee that thou hast heard me . Also in John 6:11,He gave thanks before He commanded His disciples to distribute loaves of bread and fishes.On the whole there are great blessings in praising God. BLESSINGS IN PRAISING GOD *Abundant provision,John 6:11-13. *Deliverance from the bondage of enemies,Acts 16:25-30. *Obtaining fresh and unusual anoiting power of the HOLY SPIRIT to work uncommon miracles, signs and wonders ,John 11:41-44. *Getting complete divine healing and total cure,Luke 17:11-19. *Becomes wonder in the sight of all enemies,David was a man after the heart of God,by the reason of his constant praising God.Consequently,God fought all his battles for him,1 Samuel 17.He always won hands down,and he became a wonder to his enemies,Psalm 71:7. *Giving thanks and praises to God destroy the barriers,yokes,or bondages of Satan that is between us and the promise of blessings by God. There are many more blessings in praising God. CONCLUSION To praise God is a function of the HOLY SPIRIT working in ones life.This opens the inner eyes to recognise the goodness of God,and even accept that it is not by our power or being hardworking that made us to be what we become,BUT the Spirit of God working in us,Zechariah 4:6,and there WE MUST RETURN ALL PRAISES,ADORATIONS,THANKS TO GOD ALMIGHTY! In other words to obtain the Spirit of appreciation we must get the power of the HOLY SPIRIT.This can be done when you become born againn by receiving CHRIST JESUS as your Saviour,John 1:12. Lastly,do not react according to your present situations that may be nothing to write home about,BUT be thanking and praising the God of the whole Universe,Habakkuk 3:17-19.Praise the LORD,somebody, HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!
