PSALM TWENTY- THREE In the analogy, the dark of the shadow refers to the experience of dying, and the light which intercepts the object, the dying believer, is Bible doctrine in the soul. In your death-shadowed valley you have the opportunity to intercept the light which is the Word of God in your soul. With the exception of those believers taken directly to heaven at the Rapture (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18), everyone will walk through his own death-shadowed valley. But the shadow, the path or experience of each death, differs. For the advancing believer with Bible doctrine in his soul, this path through the valley into eternity will be filled with blessing and dying grace-no matter how death occurs.
