PSALMS Chapter 147 – TERESA’S EASY RENDITION 1 Praise Jah! How good it is to sing praises to our God! How pleasant and fitting to praise Him! 2 Jehovah is building Jerusalem. He recovers the exiles of Israel. 3 He heals the broken-hearted. He binds up their wounds. 4 He counts the number of stars, calling each one by name. 5 Our Lord is great and powerful. His understanding is unfathomable. 6 Jehovah cheers up the meek, but He throws the wicked to the ground. 7 Sing to Jehovah with thanksgiving. Play music to our God by the harp. 8 The One who covers the heaven with clouds. The One who supplies the earth with rain. The One who makes the hills grow with grass. 9 He provides food to the beasts, and to the young crows that cry for it. 10 His delight isn’t in the might of a horse. Nor is he impressed in the (strong) legs of a man. 11 But Jehovah is pleased with those who fear Him, with those who hope for His great love. To be continued…
