PSV accept bid for Toivonen Norwich City have agreed a deal to sign Sweden international forward Ola Toivonen from Dutch Eredivisie runners-up PSV Eindhoven, according to club director Marcel Brands. Norwich have already signed Dutch striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel, 24, from Portuguese giants Sporting CP for an initial fee of €10 million after agreeing a deal in March. Toivonen, whose current contract at the Philips Stadion expires next summer, has been linked with a number of English clubs, including Fulham and West Bromwich Albion, in recent times. “We never comment on any sums, but we have reached an agreement with Norwich for Ola,” Brands told Swedish newspaper SportBladet. “Now it’s entirely up to him to decide whether he wants to move. “We start training on Monday, if there is no deal with Norwich then I expect to him to be here.” The Sweden international, 26, bagged 11 goals in 22 appearances in all competitions for PSV last season, and has previously been linked with a move to Liverpool.
