[PTI Press Release - November 18, 2013] At a press conference today at PTI Central Office, Vice Chairman PTI Shah Mahmood Qureshi along with Central Information Secretary Shireen Mazari and Women Wing President Munazza Hassan, demanded an immediate session of the National Assembly to discuss the extremely acute security situation arising in the country out of the Ashura violence in Rawalpindi which has already begun spreading across the country. If the government is not prepared to call an immediate session of the NA, PTI is already in touch with the Opposition leaders to requisition the same. PTI also demands that the judicial commission instituted to look into the Pindi incident should also widen its mandate to include other cities in pakistan where similar sectarian incidents have and are taking place at the behest of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan.
