Issued By: Ulster County Emergency Management Jurisdictions: Ulster County Headline: Boil water advisory in effect for the City of Kingston Description: The City of Kingston Water Department and Ulster County Department of Health have issued a boil water advisory for the City of Kingston. This advisory shall remain if effect for the next 24-48 hours until chlorination levels indicate the water can once again be used for drinking, food preparation and washing dishes. Instructions: All residents served by the City of Kingston Water Department should boil water prior to using for drinking, food preparation or washing dishses. Water Department officials will issue subsequent statements when the water quality is cleared for normal use.
