PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT If you think your car is rubbish in the snow. It probably isn’t. Some cars require more technical skill to drive in snow than others. No car is rubbish in the snow. If you don’t have the skill to drive one of these cars, stay home and let the rest of us get to work. If you find you cant drive in the snow, If you are either on the power or on the breaks with no balance then driving in snow will prove challenging. Stay at home and tlet the rest of us get to work. If its not the car or your driving, then its probably the cheapest tyres you could find that you bought the last time you needed to get your car through an MOT. If your car has the cheapest tyres you can find on it. Stay at home and let the rest of us get to work. If you cant see to drive in the snow get better Glasses/window wipers/clean the sap off your windscreen. If none of that works. Stay home and let the rest of us get to work. If none of the above applies and you think sitting at 30 in the middle lane of the motorway is acceptable in poor driving conditions when the remaining traffic round you is moving at 70. Stay at home and let the rest of us get to work. If you drive a top of the range. Range Rover. Yet put after market alloys and slick tyres and ask me to stop and help you get off the mound of grass you’ve crashed into because you’ve used your breaks, expect me just to laugh and tell you to phone the RAC. You should have probably stayed home and let the rest of us get to work Fog lights are for poor visibility not for snow. If your sat in a queue of stationary traffic with 2 rear fog lights burning my retina. Expect me to put mine on with my high beams. If you think that being able to see for more than a mile requires your fog lights then you should stay at home and let the rest of us get to work. If any of the above fits you. Most importantly, Never Ever Ever moan about the state of the roads and pot holes. Its irresponsible drivers like you that force the councils to go overboard with salt and other chemicals to keep the roads clear for drivers like you. The over use of salt and chemicals on the roads destroys the driving surfaces. Just stay at home and let the rest of us get to work. If you cant do that. Drive on a bus route. They are always clear.
