PUPPETS IN THE WIND. The looting scenes in Philippines, after the super-typhoon Haiyan, give us a clue to the social chaos thatll result from Global Warming and Climate Change, at a planetary scale, if we do not STOP abusing the EARTH right now. It shows how thin and vulnerable is our civilized varnish, which is based upon identification with thoughts, when we fall into the pit of raw and wild life, and when our sophisticated defenses are brutally brought down. Indeed, when we are psychologically disconnected from Reality in us by unresolved pain-memories too big to be consciously encountered, we find refuge into identification with our thoughts. Yet, thats just a fragile shelter in unstable equilibrium which can be easily broken. Like a marooned clings to his/her raft on an unsettled sea, we protect our wounded self behind a lot of barricades, both mental and physical, creating a kind of livable but virtual cocoon. And when these barricades are abruptly removed were turned into crazed creatures able of just the worst. This, by the way, shows how great is the magnitude of our unresolved pain-memories, we incognito shelter in our depth, and how, when they are suddenly woken, they can drive us like puppets in the wind. Global Warming is generated by our CO2 emissions and our little darling cars are, in a big part, responsible for the unbelievable chaos this upheaval is preparing for us, ... all of us. The period is not convenient anymore to our little quarrels about this is mine and this is not yours, we must come together and work as one People, the People of the EARTH, repairing the damages weve done to the only vessel we have for crossing the many trials lurking on our path in this vast and cold universe. Indeed, if we want to just survive to the disorder we have generated, it is time to put aside our egoistic little plans for abusing each other. We need to abandon identification with thoughts which functions on HAVING mode and return to BEING within us, which is Realitys INFINITE essence we share with the rest of the universe and which is stable ground. Indeed, we need to leave our mental and conflictual dreams to other times and come back to mere Reality in us. Come back to the SELF... BE KHÔD Â. Patrick Ali Pahlavi
