A volunteer writes: Little Marley looks like a black pearl in a jewelry box: rare, precious, petite and delicate looking. He is such a beautiful young dog, so perfectly made by mother nature. Marley is a bit shy in his kennel. I have to convince him a little to come out but soon enough, after a walk in the street, he feels comfortable and ready to enjoy our time together. He can sit on command and for treats that he takes gently from my hand. He might be house trained and eliminates without marking. He is curious of other dogs, although timid with them, tail wagging very gently when he sees one. Marley is very puppy like in his looks and manners although he is quite well mannered and poised. He is a very sweet lapdog, a wonderful little boy who loves to kiss and to be kissed. Marley was found as a stray, a tiny peanut, a pocket Pittie at 28 pounds who will steal your heart the moment you see him. He is very much stuck in my mind, an unforgettable perfect jewel of a dog…Marley is at the Manhattan Care Center.
