PURSUE THE KINGDOMS AGENDA (4) Wednesday, 14 January 2015 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.Matthew 22:37 (KJV) The follow-up to todays scripture is, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (Mark 12:31, KJV). In other words, the essence of man is to love God and love your fellow human beings. And if you truly love in the way God loves, you must be giving something. God said to the rich man in Luke 12:20, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou has provided? (KJV). In other words, God was saying that people who make plans and strategies without thinking about God or man are useless. When you do this you are just filling space; you are not fulfilling a purpose. You are not pursuing the kingdoms agenda. When you consider the kingdoms agenda, you know that you should not be thinking about yourself. It is about how people can be helped and the price you will pay to help others. The kingdoms agenda supports seeking to the people you can give to-not thoughts about how much you can take. This is the kind of love that Jesus is talking about. To what extra lengths will you go for people? That is true love. You cannot claim to love people when you will not make little sacrifices for them. In your business pursuit, is it about self or about helping humanity? Who is being helped by your actions? We cant all be pastors, but every one of us is a minister. All of us are ambassadors. Not everyone will be sent to the pulpit ministry but we have all been put in the world with a mission. So as you are, taking into account whatever you are: a CEO, an MD, a senior manager, etc., realize that God is depending on you to propagate the kingdoms agenda. That is what He wants from you. This is how Jesus love will spread evenly in the world. God blesses you in order for you to be a blessing-that is the kingdoms agenda.
