PWL Announcement. On Friday 28th December Pro Wrestling Live will launch a NEW championship Title & Belt - The PWL Internet Championship AND a new Internet based Wrestling Show available on YouTube! The PWL Internet Championship has been designed to be a contemporary and modern addition to PWL, with a fully interactive element to its nature, meaning that fans can have a say on match stipulations and even contenders by voting via the internet, through social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Whats Ap, YouTube and a soon to be launched PWL Discussion forum. With an ever more internet based, social network & media driven culture, We feel that this new Internet Championship will be a great way for our fans to interact with us as a wrestling promotion, and indeed have a say on what goes on, whilst investing their time and creativity into this new direction! The Championship will be defended on Live PWL Wrestling shows across the UK, but will also take its inspiration from American TV titles. In the past and indeed even today, promotions like WCW / ECW / TNA have used World Television Championships, as a way of promoting their TV product and having their TV Titles defended in main events on TV broadcasts, Indeed our Officially Affiliated promotion in America - Southern States Wrestling currently utilizes a TV Championship on its weekly TV broadcasts. With this is mind, we will also be using the new PWL Internet Championship to launch a NEW PWL Internet wrestling show. We will initially present a 30 minute PWL show each month (with a view to it moving to a weekly show upon assessment of viewership). This 30 minute show will showcase highlight packages of previous shows, interviews with our wrestlers, information on our upcoming shows, information on our sponsors (CBF Commercial Body Fittings & Johnny Spice) and affiliated promotions (SSW - Southern States Wrestling & CTW - Portugal), and at the end of each PWL Internet show, we will air a PWL Internet Championship Title Match from that month of show release! We will soon post details of how YOU can vote on what happens on Friday 28th November in order for the first ever PWL Internet Champion to be crowned!
