PaK Govt reserves seats for Kashmiris in professional institutions Muzaffarabad, Jun 13: The Government of Pakistan Administered Kashmir has issued a notification stating that there would be reservation for Kashmiri migrant families and Kashmiri students in various academic and professional institutions throughout PaK. In a statement here a spokesman of the PaK government said Basharat Ahmad Media Secretary to PaK President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob, today called Davood Ahmad Khan Vice- President JK National Peoples Party and apprised him of the latest steps taken by the PaK government. He said that the issue was brought inthe notice of the President by Syed Salim Gilani President JKNPP and Senior APHC leader during his recent visit to Pakistan. Conceding to all the demands put forth by Gilani, the PaK President issued a notification in which it was stated that 15 seats for Medical and Engineering courses shall be reserved for Kashmiri students in professional institutions of PaK. It was also notified that 30 seats shall be sponsored for higher education in different universities of PaK on 100 per cent scholarship scheme for students of Kashmir Valley. Moreover 7% reservation has also been notified for Kashmiri migrant families for early 90’s living in PaK
