Pacific Rim: I saw it in 3D IMAX. I wish my theater had just IMAX minus 3D for technical issues. Besides that, I enjoyed the movie. The action, monsters, and mobile suits were definitely the selling point and they succeeded in that. The plot was as one of my friends puts it "basic." I call it an independence day movie. Ultimately, this movie is transformers with plot. Is it fantastic plot no, will the sound and visuals keep you on the edge and entertained, yes, but thats b/c I love gundam wing and giant monsters fighting. I say its worth the large screen watch before major value is lost on dvd.
