Packaging Computer Technician: Details: Position Summary: Reports directly to the Senior Production Lead. The primary responsibility of the Computer Technician is to provide high level technical support of the Packaging systems – configuration and installation of hardware, software and other components, to maximize productivity of packaging operations. Job Functions: • Provides software and hardware support including set up, testing, auditing, troubleshooting and installation. • Maintenance and repair of packaging equipment. • Assist with disaster recovery, including planning and testing. • Work on projects as assigned and report status updates as required. • Ensure that all software updates are current. • Prepare reports as required. • Maintain inventory of supplies and spare parts. • Prepare purchase requisitions and other documents as required. • Must display professional behavior at all times. • Follow 5S concept as required. • Perform all other duties as assigned. Position Requirements/Qualifications: • Four year college degree; or combination of education and experience. • Strong background in electronics and maintenance of computer and electronics equipment. • Experience with DOS and windows environments, commercial office applications.
