Padres Players take Swings off Midway! Earlier this week, a handful of players from our very own San Diego Padres stopped by the USS Midway Museum for a commercial shoot. The Padres and Midway have a strong partnership. We have worked together all season long on Military Sundays, and the model of the Midway at Petco Park, along with the wall behind it showcasing the names of players who served in the military, is always a popular attraction during home games. Although the Padres will miss the playoffs this year, they finished off the season very strongly. The Friars can boast one of the best pitching staffs in the majors, and were very tough to beat at home all year! The Midway is looking forward to working with the Pads next year, and fans are definitely anticipating a run at the playoffs in 2015! Go Pads! Beat them Giants tonight!
