Page: 2 ENB COUNCILLORS STILL NOT ON PAYROLL By PATRICK MINANA Ward councillors in East New Britain Province have not been paid their fortnightly allowances since coming into office in 2012. Deputy president of Toma/Vunadidir LLG and ward member for Ratavul 2 ward, Tony Kove, on behalf of all ward members in the province, is now calling on the national Government to start honouring its commitment. Mr Kove said he wants the Government to start implementing its commitment and obligation to pay the councillors their allowances as councillors are doing a lot in every possible means looking after the people in their respective wards and communities day and night.
