Page 2 in this weeks Leader Paper,( Council left out in cold). Its only now they finding out how the changeover is impacting on our town, Cllr Oliver Tully said we have gone backwards? Cllr Paul Bell said his deep worry is that he does not know who to contact should he need issues addressed he actually agreed that our town is filthy? Mayor Kevin Callan stated his worry that the lobby area of the council offices on fair street gives the impression that the building is empty? well they all had a chance to fight to keep our town, they should have fought together against Phil Hogan the only person that put the motion on the table was Ken OHeiligh, so now we are all suffering because those that are supposed to be representing us couldnt be bothered to try and keep our town they should have been up at Phil Hogans office but no they let it happen and because its affecting them they dont like it, they should be ashamed of what they have done to our town, if last weeks meeting is anything to go by god help us squabbling over what time the meeting should start at, there is more pressing issues to deal with, Drogheda is gone to Dundalk you have no powers now, so yes our town has got worse since the change over, overflowing dog/rubbish bins for days i have highlighted these to our skeleton council and i sent pictures of these to you all and the only 1 to answer was Kevin Callan, so you dont answer the public when we highlight something that needs addressed? and i was told to contact LCC, streets filthy, our park is a disgrace, parking is a joke, i could go on but you all know this and nothing is been done about it, myself and Maria Connor had to highlight the parking problems in the town, it would do you all good to take a walk around our town and take a good look at the state its in now, your here to represent the people of Drogheda who elected you in, now we have problem with the Litter Warden? there is nothing in Drogheda as everything is in Dundalk.
