Pain is the single most greatest motivator to draw us to God, - TopicsExpress

Pain is the single most greatest motivator to draw us to God, where only eternal transformation can take place. As humans we do everything able to resist or avoid pain due to the trauma associated with the memory of the incident & what it causes in our inner being. Pain actually changes our inner structure. It is common to all & we learn to cope with it through different means, through food, work, ministry even relationship, shopping, addictions, all types of self medication, to ease or eradicate the inner pain & the memory of it. It never fails to both humble & overwhelm me that God is the only Supreme entity that actually uses that pain for a greater good, to heal, restore & strengthen us. If we are able to embrace Him through the process, He is able to transform & bring us to a deeper level of stability, wholeness & authentic authority. Pain is the single greatest catalyst that causes the deepest growth, the deepest change & the deepest increase if we do not resist Holy Spirits transforming process in & through it. What I am saying is, there is always a greater good in the midst of every pain encounter, be it rejection, loss, grief...even abandonment. We have all experienced this in one form or another. God is not the author of pain but in our frail bodies He knew our greatest point of need & made a way...through Himself, knowing that He is sovereign, & we have the leading of Holy Spirit to comfort, provide & direct us in the finished work of Christs sacrifice. SO, every encounter in pain, through the cross is completed, worked through & in us. Eternally AND internally, changing & transforming us in our inner being, to bring us to a deeper level of confidence, stability & wholeness in the One who created us! No matter what, no matter who, no matter how, He always uses everything in our lives for a greater good. He uses all things for good to those who love Him & are called according to His purposes!!! The question is, do we have eyes to recognize & perceive Him in the midst of it?
