Pakistan and Taliban Yesterday it was Wagah, Karachi airport, Mehran base, etc.; today it is Peshawar; tomorrow it could be Islamabad, Lahore, Hyderabad, etc. Any place in Pakistan; big or small; is not months, weeks or days away from a terrorist attack rather it’s only moments away from another tragedy, This time it was 145 or so casualties, next time it could be worse. The terrorist doesn’t have to come from across the border from Afghanistan or northern areas of Pakistan; rather they are living amongst us. They could be living right next door to us and we wouldn’t know. No matter how many terrorists are killed by the army in the battle in the tribal areas, there are many being produced in the neighborhood mosques. The literature in a lot of madrassas, mosques in Pakistan & around the world, and Sunday schools in the west have been infiltrated by the idea-logs of Taliban/ ISIS/ Sipah-e-Sahaba without any realization by the brothers of Ahl-e-Sunnah. When children are brought up with their teachings you can’t expect anything but terrorists. Even in Friday sermons in the mosques controlled by them, their teachings are conspicuously interjected little at a time – and all this is being funded by none other than Saudi Arabia since Ziaul Haq through large amounts of cash being delivered in boats via Gwadar in Pakistan or through Dubai and other Emirate states. If you look closely, you’ll find that the vision of Saudi Arabia is the vision of ISIS, Taliban and Sipah-e-Sahaba. The rhetoric of Saudi Arabia is the complete destruction of Shiites; the complete destruction of Christianity, the complete destruction of holy graves, the complete destruction of other holy sites; the complete destruction of even all those Ahl-e-Sunnah who stand in their way. The only reason that you see Saudi Arabia voicing some concern about ISIS recently is only because of ISIS’s call for Caliphate which threatens their monarchy; though it was funded and created by them. If you trace back the roots of these people, it takes you all the way back to Prophet Mohammad (PBUH). In the battle of Nahrawan, Hazrat Ali (AS) faced the khawarij; who had never missed a salat or a fast and recited the best Quran but had no understanding of Quran or Islam. All but nine of the khawarij were killed who escaped and went into hiding. They and their decedents remained in hiding till mid13th century when in Syria Ibn Taymiyyah took over the task of his ancestors of propagation against Shias and Christians. His book Minhaj us Sunnah is an attack on Shia and Al-Jawab as-Sahih against Christianity; and both the books stress on killings of both Shias and Christians. Later in the fourteenth century another Syrian Ibn al-Qayyim carried his mission with zeal along with Ibn al-Jawzi at his Madrassa. But they couldn’t get very far with their teachings as they were confronted and refuted by other scholars of Ahl-e-Sunnah. In early 18th century Mohammed Abdul Wahab comes along, the grand poohbah of today’s Wahhabis. Al Saud and Abdul Wahab got into an agreement that they are going to look after each other’s interests. Abdul Wahab’s teachings would protect Al Saud’s regime and Al Saud would fund Abdul Wahab’s teaching. That’s what exactly they did; one protect ted the regime and the other spread the venomous teachings of Abdul Wahab which is anti-Shia (kill the Shia, burn the Shia, rape their women, make their women and children slaves, etc.) and the books of Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn al-Qayyim and Ibn al-Jawzi (Talbis Iblis) . Not only these books are all over Saudi Arabia but now they are being taught in the madrassas all around the world, especially in Pakistan. They really want to go after Shia’s and Christians and want to completely annihilate them; they won’t give it a second thought to kill anyone who stands in their way either. There has been another trend in Pakistan in the past years. First the Imams of mosques who do not adhere to the teachings of Abdul Wahab are killed and then either these mosques are taken over by Taliban directly or Imams who follow their idea-logs are placed there; and thus the indoctrination carries on in neighborhoods too. The only way to eradicate terrorism in Pakistan is not only to deal harshly with those mullahs but also their apologists. It’s amazing that the so called mullahs like Abdul Aziz of Lal Masjid, Ludhianvi of Sipah Sahaba and Munawar Hasan of Jamaat-e-Islami openly preach their radical views full of hatred not only for Shias but also for those who don’t follow their beliefs and also support ISIS without any fear of persecution, and no one is there to stop them. Shias are the biggest sore in their behinds because they have been trying to annihilate them for centuries but instead they have just grown in multiples. These progeny of Abu Safyan, Muawiya and Yazid and the likes of them are the real terrorists who not only have created a chaos in the country but also have given a bad name to Islam along with their apologists like Fazalur Rahman. While our rulers were busy looting the country’s assets, ISIS also crept in. Now you’ll see wall chalking all over the country in favor of ISIS. Now is the time to put a check on them or else soon Pakistan will not be much different than Syria and Iraq. To bring some sanity in the country it is imperative not only to prosecute and hang these descendants of the escapees of Nahrawan but also to tear down all those Masjid-e-Zarar or else someday one of their disciples will take over and would carry over the same again and somehow deal with the so called custodians of the Holy Cities to put a stop to the funding.
