Palestinians push back civil administration and Israeli border police, in a demonstration over plans to forcibly evict bedouins. This morning internationals were called to a demonstration by Palestinians and the Popular non violence resistance committee at Khalit Al Qamar in Al Ayzarya town. The demonstrators gathered and confronted the civil administration, a group of contractors and 4 Israeli border police. The civil administration is planning to build a village for the bedouin community on top of a rubbish site, this plan includes completely clearing the outskirts of Jerusalem, which would mean forcibly removing around 12,500 Bedouins from many areas for illegal settlement expanison. Palestinians including Bedouins outright object to these plans. Israeli border police were pushing the demostrators and at one point nearly arrested a Palestinian man holding a sign. Palestinians managed to steal a copy of the blue print plans for the construction of the village for the forcibly removed bedouins, Palestinians vowed to return to the area for more non violent resistance actions in objection to the plans over the coming days. The demonstration lasted around one hour, the civil administration, contractors and Israeli border police were left with no choice but to leave the area whilst demonstrators cheered on.
