Palm Springs Kennel Club Dog Show - Videos Quimby and I were spoiled by having a videographer for all of our performances this past weekend (thanks Rich & Debra). (Such a helpful learning tool!) This show was a big step - our first showing in the B classes (where all of the experienced handlers and top dogs show). As this show was the CA state invitational qualifier for the National Obedience Championships, many of the best dogs and top handlers were there. They all got to see our rookie highs and lows. But there were ups and downs for the experienced folks too. Sunday (Day #3) was a tough day for a lot of people. It was a good sanity check for us. We learned a lot and didnt have time to worry about what anyone else thought of our performance. Sometimes your dog may not qualify, but that doesnt mean that it hasnt done a lot of good work in the ring. We had that experience in Utility on Saturday!
