Pamela Dickersonposted toLast Call Ministries Kenya Africa Did you know the average laborrer in Kenya lives off of $60.00 a month, My heart is truly broken, my mind still canot comprehend what I saw yesterday during our feeding program....we have the video to post later, but what truly broke my heart was on the out we stopped to help a small family that were mistreated by the other residents in the community and there was a young girl we spoke with she had a little baby looked to american standards to be 2months old I asked her if I could hold the baby, she said oh know mamdam my baby has TB...and Melissa Hager who is a nurse said the baby sounded like it had phnuemonia....they took us into the little hut in which they live, it was just one room, dirt floors, no running water or electricity, unbearable liiving conditions, I wanted so much to just take that baby home with me a take care of it and get it treatment because if God does not perform a miracle it will probably not make it.....the problem is there are many here just like her...it breaks your heart because you know you cant help them all, but we can help a few....yesterday we put out a plea for help for our orphanage here and only two people responded....Do you know why??? because you only see the environment around you...it is so sad, if only ten of you would respond with $10.00 dollars we would have $100.00 , that $100.00 here can feed the poor people in the slums, with 20 people to give $10.00 we can get 1 bed for children who are sleeping on the floor, if you have all you need, be thankful.
